Jeff Bermant

Jeff Bermant is the founder and CEO of Tusk Central AI. A USC graduate, he built one of Santa Barbara's largest real estate development firms before turning to software, founding Virtual World Computing — maker of the Cocoon privacy browser and VPN. He went on to launch the Tusk browser and search engine, and in 2023 released one of the earliest specialized AI chatbots built on ChatGPT. With more than fifteen years building browsers, search, and privacy technology, he started Tusk Central AI on a simple conviction: the world's best AI models should be in one place, free for everyone.
